Victim Identified Nina Mims, 27, dies in Dallas County wreck; ALEA investigation underway

A single-vehicle crash on Friday night has left an Oxford woman dead, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

At about 11:30 p.m., a woman authorities identified as Nina Mims, 27, was driving on Alabama Highway 22 when her car left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught fire.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating a car collision that happened on Alabama 22 in Dallas County on Friday night, 13 miles west of Selma.

Nina N. Mims, 27, was murdered on Friday, October 25, about 11:30 p.m., when her 2009 Honda Pilot off the road, collided with a tree, and caught fire, according to ALEA.

She was pronounced deceased at the spot.

It is unclear how Mims left the road, causing the incident.
