Marion Phillip Glymph, 68, of Lexington, was pronounced deceased at the site of the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Highway 6 (SC-6) and Martin Neese Road.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol states that the crash occurred around 4:40 p.m. According to investigators, Glymph was driving a 2003 Dodge van north on Martin Neese Road. At the same moment, a 2015 Nissan SUV was driving east on SC-6 when they collided at the crossing. The exact details of what caused the incident are still being investigated.
