Adolfo Sanabria Sorzano Obituary, Death: 13 year-old dies subway surfing doing ‘awful’ TikTok challenge
On Wednesday night, a 13-year-old kid died while participating in a “awful” TikTok subway surfing challenge in Queens, according to cops and his mother.
The teen was found unconscious at the Forest Avenue subway station in Ridgewood at 10 p.m., according to the NYPD.
Police said the child was subway surfing when he fell off the top of the M train.
Adolfo Sanabria Sorzano, a teenager, died at the site.
According to a GoFundMe page set up to cover the boy’s burial expenses, his mother stated that he was participating in the “awful” TikTok subway surfing challenge.
“Adolfo was a vibrant child with dreams and hopes, and his death has created a gap that cannot be filled. I humbly request that you assist us in saying farewell to him with the dignity that he deserves. “Any donation, large or small, will be greatly appreciated in these trying times,” the mother stated.
Last month, an 11-year-old child died during subway surfing after falling off the G train near the 4th Avenue-9th Street station in Brooklyn.
